On March 10, 2022, Gov. Eric Holcomb signed into law a bill curtailing the powers of Indiana homeowners associations to limit homeowner installation of solar energy systems, including solar panels and solar shingles. A similar bill was on the legislative agenda in each of the past five years but failed to pass.
